The heavy Afro-psychedelic outfit from the far north had absolutely blown us away already with their expert job backing Ghanaโs enigmatic โFunkyโ Rob on his tour beginning of 2023, but their own concerts were next level as far as funkiness, stage presence, and humor are concerned.
Flammer is being run by a bunch of veteran breakdancers who, years ago, had been perfecting their moves by rocking and popping to the Afro-funk of Rob, Ebo Taylor, and Fela Kuti.
The energetic 7-piece is all about vintage synths, spaced-out effects, hip-shaking grooves, and headbanging breaks! Tight-ass rhythm and quality musicianship, with the freedom, spontaneity, and energy of a jam band.
While they are already household names inside their home country, attracting hundreds of listeners (and viewers, as their shows are spectacles), we now want to spread the gospel of Flammer all across Europe!
